This is where you get to know who I am and what I am all about. Well, first things first. I am a firm believer in Taking Charge of your future and not settling for less than your maximum potential. As your reading  this, I want you to know today is the first day of the rest of your life! The decisions we make today will determine the outcome of our lives in the near future. Wouldn’t you agree?

The truth is………. my a positive attitude and thinking wasn’t always like this. Let me rewind some to my earlier years in my life. Growing up, wasn’t all that bad. Both of my parents loved me wholeheartedly, despite the fact they were divorced by the time I was 9 years old. At this time in my life I wasn’t really worried about it. A 9 year old has other things to think about right? I grew up and still reside in WV, about a half hour from Pittsburgh, PA GO STEELER’S!

I am a proud brother of a remarkable and beautiful (inside and out) sister whom I love dearly. We were never deprived of anything. However, we were never able to experience some of the things other kids did with parents who had high paying jobs. My parents worked hard and gave us what we needed more than any material possession…LOVE! This is when I started to develop an interest in wealth.

I began working at the young age of twelve. My very first job was making trophies at the local trophy shop and shoveling snow up on “the heights”. The heights is where us kids would go to make a lot of money during our snow shoveling days. People who had MONEY lives up their. Heck, just this year I went up there to make a few extra bucks. My work ethic is strong or I just enjoy the burning sensation in my lower back after shoveling a driveway. The money I made went towards the things my parents couldn’t afford to get us. My interest in wealth led me to start reading about money,business, and entrepreneurship.

By the time I was 15, my job was washing dishes at Gio’s Family Restaurant (great Italian food). This was about the time my reading interest took off. Books like “Rich Dad, Poor Dad“, “Money Love”, and “Unlimited Power” were on my shelf. Reading these books gave me inspiration to CONQUER THE WORLD! My dreams were to have my own business of some sort, be a real estate investor, and then become a professional motivational speaker and travel the world.

What happened next…… was what almost ruined my life. Not long after that, I was introduced to alcohol. We all can relate to experimenting as teenagers right? Except my experimenting led to an obsession. During high school, basketball was my favorite sport to play. I was an all star player but I did score my share of points. Jobs were never a problem for me either except for during basketball season every year. Remember wealth was what I was after? Alcohol at first, was a weekend thing at first, then progressed into several days a week during school nights. My poor parents, there is no way for me to pay back for all the hurt I put them through. This obsession grew as I got older. Then came the “jack pots”, others may call them problems caused by drinking. Numerous DUI’s, ruined relationships, divorce, incarceration, and rehabs.

I was blessed with two AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL daughters whom I love unconditionally.

Above Is My “WHY”

WOW you must be thinking, why is he telling us all this? Well, the truth is, I believe you deserve the right to know who I am. If we are going to develop any type of relationship online then don’t you think you should know who you are connecting with. Rigorous honesty is the true sense of peace.

After all that chaos in my life, the other obsession I had “success”, never ceased. My dreams were still to have my own business and own real estate. Now, after some time of living sober (thanks be to the Steps of AA)I am starting to live out my dreams and accomplish goals that were once so far out of reach. The great thing is, you can too!

My first business venture….a couple years ago was a network marketing company. Some may call it MLM, I just knew this was it! This was going to bring me success and wealth! Well, I failed miserably and gave up after 4 short months. Two reasons why I failed were not having enough money to keep myself in business as a distributor and not enough quality leads. The upline told me to make a list of 200 people I knew who would like to make some money. They said to recruit as many people as you can and you will succeed. I made flyers and put them EVERYWHERE! My business cards would end up on the ground because of how I handed them out to everyone I saw no matter where it was. It is nice being able to laugh at myself during my early development as an entrepreneur.

My personal enthusiasm for success would allow me to completely stop. The only reason your reading this is because my “WHY” or desire to succeed is stronger than the setbacks, obstacles, and sacrifices I went up against then and now. I want you to know……no matter what we face in life, we have inside the ultimate power to Rise Up and Take Control of our lives. I never gave up completely and I do not ever want you to either. The rewards of persevering through the tough times in the beginning are far greater than the instant satisfaction of some quick results that only last for a month or two.

Even though it seemed I would never accomplish much in life, let alone my dreams of success, I NEVER COMPLETELY GAVE UP! I never stopped knowing inside  I could do it and then take action on what I learned.

I never gave up seeking for solutions that would solve my problem of owning my own business, I never lost sight of the big vision I had in my mind, nor did I lose faith in myself and my higher power to guide me towards success. My goals were only temporarily put on hold when alcohol was conducting my life.

I didn’t run away from what I wanted, I faced it head on and went for it. I accepted everything that had happened in my life and found the inner strength of my being to keep pressing forward toward success as I see it by discovering my purpose in life.

If you do the same thing my friends….you too can start seeing some amazing things start to happen in your life. All you really have to do is look within and find your inner strength and I promise….your life will change and you will grow in ways you never thought were possible.

The challenge you now is to do as I did and find this power inside you we all possess. This power is infinitely capable of bringing you to a state of limitless boundaries in your life.

This blog is dedicated to sharing with you what I learned so far and still continue to learn on my journey as an online entrepreneur. The only gift I can give is my experience, strength, and hope to those willing to let it teach them.

So take the time to view my entire blog and all you find on here. I can promise you this blog will add value to your life and nourish your thirst for personal development, online marketing, and living a life that you were able to Rise Up and Take Control with. I hope my story inspired some of you to stop living for someone else and take back control of yours. I did this by attending college 9 short years after high school. I’m currently 28 and am just now pursuing my associates degree in Business Management/Internet Marketing at Rasmussen College.

I share that with you in hopes to inspire someone who reads this. This is not to brag at all, instead it is to show YOU what is possible in YOUR life! The choice is yours whether or not you want to go to college, I just wanted to let you know it was not too late and it doesn’t matter what type of lifestyle you lived up to this point in your life!

The Best Time Is Now…….for people to stop and REALIZE how POWERFUL they really are! It is time that we stop leading lives of mediocrity, spending our time only dreaming and take responsibility for our lives. So I encourage you to Rise Up and Take Control!

Everyone can become GREAT and SUCCESSFUL at anything they truly want if they simply believe! Each and every person can change their circumstances, whether it is professionally, personally, or financially, and create their own new way of living their life.

My passion is living the life I could only once dream of and helping others do the same. Remember, anything is possible if YOU Rise Up and Take Control!
